Psychiatric Assessment and Medication Management
I-HPS provides psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adults throughout California through secure video visits. We assess concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar-spectrum symptoms, psychosis, ADHD, and difficulties related to substance use, alongside your medical history and treatment goals.
Our Precision Medication Management approach considers the whole person: symptoms, daily functioning, sleep, diet, movement, medications, supplements, and previous treatment response. Validated questionnaires help track symptoms over time. Laboratory monitoring is individualized, and pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing may be considered when clinically appropriate. PGx can inform certain medication decisions but does not guarantee which medication will work.
Your initial assessment establishes a shared treatment plan. Follow-up appointments review response, side effects, relevant test results, and your priorities. With your permission, we can coordinate with your primary care clinician, therapist, or other members of your care team.
New patient intakes are available within 5 working days. Self-pay fees are $300 for the comprehensive initial assessment and $150 per follow-up appointment. PGx and laboratory testing are billed separately; costs are discussed before ordering. Our office verifies insurance coverage and authorization requirements individually.
