California Telepsychiatry and Medication Management
In-Home Psychiatric Services provides patient-centered psychiatric care through an experienced team that includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and advanced practice psychiatric pharmacists. We care for adolescents age 13 and older, adults, and older adults throughout California using secure telehealth.
Treatment is grounded in evidence-informed prescribing, measurement-based care, medication monitoring, and collaborative decision-making. When appropriate, we coordinate with a patient’s therapist, primary care clinician, specialist, caregiver, residential program, or other members of the treatment team.

Precision Medication Management combines a comprehensive psychiatric assessment with measurement-based care, individualized laboratory monitoring, and a review of medications, supplements, sleep, diet, and movement.
Pharmacogenomics (PGx) examines how genetic differences may affect the way your body processes certain medications. When appropriate, results may inform medication dosing or identify increased risks of side effects. Testing does not guarantee which medication will work and is interpreted alongside your history, symptoms, laboratory results, and preferences.
Your initial assessment establishes a shared treatment plan. Follow-ups review progress, functioning, side effects, and relevant test results. PGx and laboratory testing are billed separately; costs are discussed before ordering.

Medication-management follow-up: $150 per appointment
Our Precision Medication Management approach combines a whole-person assessment with ongoing review of symptoms, treatment response, and medication safety. PGx testing and other laboratory tests are billed separately. Costs are discussed before testing is ordered. Insurance coverage and patient responsibility depend on your plan.

Whole-person assessment. We review psychiatric symptoms, medical history, sleep, diet, movement, substance use, medications, supplements, and your goals.

Measurement-based care. Validated symptom questionnaires help establish a starting point and track progress. We use the results alongside your experience and clinical assessment.

Individualized laboratory monitoring. We review existing results and order appropriate tests to assess relevant medical factors and monitor medication safety.

Pharmacogenomics (PGx), when appropriate. Genetic testing may help explain how your body processes certain medications and inform dosing or side-effect risk. It cannot guarantee which medication will work.

Shared decisions. We discuss treatment options, benefits, risks, and preferences with you. Medication and supplement interactions are reviewed as part of your care.

Ongoing review. Follow-up appointments assess symptoms, functioning, side effects, and relevant test results so your treatment plan can be adjusted as needed.

A detailed psychiatric intake evaluates current symptoms, treatment history, medications, medical factors, functioning, safety, and the patient’s goals.
Psychiatric Medication Management
Ongoing visits focus on response, side effects, adherence, laboratory monitoring, medication interactions, and shared treatment decisions.
Measurement-Based and Pharmacogenomic Care
Validated rating scales can help track symptoms and treatment progress. When clinically appropriate, pharmacogenomic testing may provide additional information about how the body processes certain medications.
Insurance Coverage
Our office verifies insurance benefits, network participation, and any referral or authorization requirements before care. Coverage and your out-of-pocket responsibility depend on your specific plan. How It Works

3. Meet your clinician. New patient intakes are available within 5 working days. Attend your secure video visit from a private location in California and develop your treatment plan together.
