I-HPS provides psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for older adults throughout California through secure video visits. Assessment considers emotional symptoms, memory concerns, daily functioning, medical conditions, and changes in the person’s life and support needs.
Our Precision Medication Management approach includes a careful review of prescriptions, nonprescription products, supplements, previous treatment response, sleep, diet, and movement. We pay attention to side effects and interactions, use symptom measurements when appropriate, and tailor laboratory monitoring to the patient’s medications and medical history. PGx testing may be considered when clinically appropriate and does not guarantee medication response.
With the patient’s permission or appropriate authorization, we collaborate with caregivers, primary care clinicians, specialists, and home-health staff. Caregiver involvement can help with history, appointments, medication routines, and follow-through when additional support is needed. Sudden changes in confusion or alertness require prompt medical assessment rather than waiting for a routine psychiatry appointment.
New patient intakes are available within 5 working days. Self-pay fees are $300 for the initial assessment and $150 per follow-up. PGx and laboratory testing are billed separately; costs are discussed before ordering. Insurance coverage is verified individually. Select Get Started to request care.
