Psychiatric Services for California Residential Programs

Programs and Community Settings We Support

Coordinated Psychiatric Assessment and Medication Management

I-HPS collaborates with residential programs, Regional Center providers, supported-living teams, and other community services to provide telepsychiatric care for appropriate patients age 13 and older throughout California. We also support continuity for patients transitioning from inpatient, partial-hospitalization, intensive-outpatient, or residential treatment.

Our psychiatric assessment considers symptoms, medical and treatment history, daily functioning, medications, supplements, lifestyle, and support needs. Precision Medication Management brings together symptom measurements, medication-safety review, individualized laboratory monitoring, and PGx testing when clinically appropriate. Genetic testing is one source of information and cannot guarantee treatment response.

With appropriate authorization, we coordinate with program staff, caregivers, referring clinicians, and other members of the treatment team. Relevant records, medication lists, laboratory results, and staff observations help inform assessment and follow-up.

New patient intakes are available within 5 working days. Our office reviews service fit, insurance eligibility, and authorization requirements. Self-pay fees are $300 for an initial assessment and $150 per follow-up; PGx and laboratory tests are billed separately, with costs discussed before ordering.

Select Refer a Patient for referral instructions. Patients must be physically located in California during visits. I-HPS provides outpatient care and is not an emergency service. If this is an emergency, call 911.
